Why call it Zahara then? December 2015
So our chief software designer spends his holidays every summer in Andalucia in the south of Spain. There is this gorgeous lake about 20kms from Ronda called Zahara. He liked the lake, he liked the little town above it of the same name and decided that’s what we would call our software. In fact, most of the software we write has some sort of name derived from a Spanish town or place. We have to call stuff something and some Spanish towns and cities have cool names. As yet we haven’t called any systems Torremolinos but who’s to say there might be some utility we write in the future!
