Expense Claim - Add a date field

When adding a Line Item there is no field for a date, can this be added. It would be really helpful for auditing purposes. Our staff only submit claims 1 or 2 times per month and will have a mileage claim each day. Having a date field will allow for audting against their diary

I am happy to report that this is already a feature of Zahara! 

You can enable this in two places, but the best option is "Enable line item required by dates." This can be enabled by: 

  1. Log into Zahara
  2. Head to Business then Settings
  3. Head to Purchase Orders
  4. Scroll down to Required By Dates
  5. Toggle "Enable line item required by dates" to ON
  6. Select Save

When you raise your next PO, you'll notice that an addition field is available on each line item to put a date in. This appears in a number of our reports and would be available for auditing.

Ah, I wasn't aware that it was the mobile app that you were referring to.

Unfortunately, the features available on the mobile app are limited, but the web version of Zahara has much more functionality. By turning that feature on, you should see the date field available for use when raising an order.

I'll add your request to our future feature request list now and will let you know if/when the feature is released on the mobile app.
